Our Existence series celebrates the distinct character of individual grape varietals that are more traditionally found in wine blends. We macerated one and two-year-old Danish Wild Ale with Syrah grapes from the Rhône Valley and aged it in a French Oak barrel for an additional year. This beer showcases Syrah’s dark berry and black pepper flavors, and the extended aging brought out savory notes of leather and tobacco.
